For horse owners

What does an emergency call-out cost?

The €15.00 service fee is placed as a hold per emergency request. It is only charged on a successful mediation, as soon as the veterinarian sets off to you — even if you cancel afterwards. Horses with a Notfallpass or stable subscription are exempt. No further fees apply. The treatment itself is billed to you separately and directly by the veterinarian.

What happens if no veterinarian is available?

The request runs for 30 minutes. If no veterinarian accepts, nothing is charged: the pre-authorization is released automatically and no service fee is due either.

How is the veterinarian selected?

The app shows all available veterinarians within 50 km, sorted by travel time. You see the real-time ETA before confirming.

For veterinarians

How do I get verified?

Upload your license to practise (Approbationsurkunde) or practice registration. Verification usually takes 1–2 business days.

What does it cost veterinarians?

Nothing — there is no subscription and no base fee. The first three mediated cases are free in any event; terms for the period thereafter are agreed separately in advance. Equimergency never takes a percentage share of your invoice.

Do I have to be available at all times?

No. Switch yourself online/offline in the app at any time.

How do I get paid?

You bill your service directly to the horse owner, as usual. Equimergency is not involved in that settlement and retains nothing from it.
