Details under § 5 DDG
The service provider within the meaning of Sec. 5 DDG is the person or company that commercially operates this website. The following details must be easily recognizable, directly accessible, and permanently available. Disclosures under Sec. 5 (1) Nos. 3 and 5 DDG (official licensing, regulated profession) do not apply: operating the platform is not subject to licensing, and the operator does not practise a regulated profession; the veterinarians matched via Equimergency are subject to their own professional law.

This website currently contains product, contact and legal information only. As soon as editorial content is added, the field below must be completed.

Consumer dispute resolution
The European Commission discontinued its Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR platform) on 20 July 2025. The notice referring to that platform, previously mandatory, no longer applies. We deliberately do not link to it: a link to a discontinued service would be misleading.
Independently of this, § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG) requires businesses that operate a website to state clearly whether they take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The statement is mandatory for businesses that employed more than ten people on 31 December of the previous year; a voluntary statement is permitted and customary.
- Statement under § 36 (1) no. 1 VSBG
- We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
- One of the two customary formulations is to be adopted: “We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.” — or, if participation is intended, the name, address and website of the competent consumer arbitration body.
